Notes He wrote from a poor copy. The copies of it were completed on the eve of the twenty-first Sunday of Jumada al-Akhira in the year one thousand and seven AH. A thousand greetings were given to its emigrants. Under this conclusion in the corner of the paper, it was written: “How can I say, ‘By my kingdom, and to God is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth.’” This book has entered into the possession of the poor to God, the rich and the venerable, His servant Salman Al-Aqeel bin Nassif Al-Waili by lineage, Al-Bashari by birth, Al-Shafi’i by doctrine. May God forgive [him], his parents, and all Muslims, Amen. Year 1220. On the title sheet, he wrote a translation by Imad al-Din al-Asbahani, the writer, in a different handwriting. Some translations were written in the footnotes of the copy. A photocopy of a handwritten copy in the library of the Kashif al-Ghita family in Najaf al-Ashraf.
