He said: Abu Darda’ al-Laythi complained, so Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf returned to him and said: The best of them and the most connected of them is Abu Muhammad, and Abd al-Rahman said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: “God Almighty said: I am God and I am the Most Merciful. I created the womb and created a name for it from My Name. Whoever joins it, I connect it, and whoever breaks it, I cut it, or said: I divided it.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud.
