Notlar Watermarks: CS in an heraldic motif (fols. 2-9: for a similar watermark see Nikolaev, no. 822a from 1799); CCS (fols. 110-113, 111-112); lion (fols. 4-7, 5-6, 118)؛ The fragment is on fol. 11r of the manuscript. Short fragment only. European paper. The manuscript is a composite volume: fols, lr-11r contain fragments of works on varied themes all written in the same Naskhī hand. Two are on the subject of Ḥadīth: Kitāb Ibn Muqann'ī (sic, i.e. Muqanna')(unidentified), fol. 4v, and Ḥadīth arba'īn, fols. 10v and 11r. According to a note on fol. 4v in Ottoman Turkish, the manuscript was brought from Egypt (or Cairo: Miṣr) by a certain Parmaq Afandī.

Cilt Cardboard binding, with a flap which is torn. Leather spine and fore-edge flap. Marbled paper over boards. A previous owner wrapped the whole manuscript in pale green paper, which is torn. Printed label, reading “Biblioteka Pazvantoglu”, inside front cover
Durum Liquid and oil stains and smudged text on many folios. Previous owners made a clumsy attempt at restoration of the margins of some folios by attaching additional strips of paper.
