Notlar	Watermark: bird in circle (fols. 40-41)؛ This text presents answers by the Prophet to questions asked by Abū Dharr (d. 32/652-3) concerning ablution, prayer, fasting and other practices. Information is provided about the treatment of Abū Dharr by the Caliphs after the Prophet’s death. Copied by two hands. First copyist, fol. 40v down to the middle of line 4; second copyist, fol. 40v, line 4, second half - 41r. European paper. The codex is a composite volume. OR. 3382, I (fols. lr-12r) includes short excerpts from different works, written by several hands, chiefly from Tafsīr Qāḍī (probably Anwār al-tanzīl wa-asrār al-ta’wīl by al-Bayḍāwī (see GAL I 416, no. 25, 1; SB I 738). There are also excerpts from Mashāriq al-anwār (fol. lv), Ibn Malak li-Mashāriq al-anwār (fols. 6r, 7v, 8v) and Akmal al-Dīn al-Babartī’s Tuḥfat al-abrār (fol. 10r, marginal annotation).
