Notlar	Limestone sculptor’s trial piece of head of a man in profile. The head is executed in relief on a small slab of limestone and faces to the right. The face is modeled in considerable detail but the headdress is only indicated. The lips are unusually full and sensuous. There are no indications of rank and the piece is probably a private portrait. The workmanship is unusually good and the piece is an excellent specimen of the period. Condition: Perfect excepting for various chips and slightly stains on the surface. \| more \| less
