Notlar Fragment of terracotta figurine of woman; torso and upper half of legs only. Arms were raised. Body flat. "Steatopygy" pronounced. Separation of legs indicated by shallow groove behind. Coarse, pale brown pottery, painted dark red on body, white, indicating cloth, from hips down. Condition: Fragment, badly preserved. Broken at waist and mended. Head, arms and lower half of legs missing. Left breast chipped. White paint largely rubbed off. Glue on right shoulder, indicating existence of arm. | more | less
