Notlar Raised relief fragment from the Ptolemy I Temple of Hathor of Mafket. Ptolemy I is shown in profile facing left. The king wears a bag wig. There is one fragmentary column of text to his left, subdivided into three groupings. The top fragmentary text reads left to right, and ends with the adjective "numerous." The central epigraph reverses orientation, and is the name of Hathor. In the lower part of preserved text is the beginning of a statement "Take to yourself the eye [...].. Between the column of text and the image of the king is another small epigraph. Traces of color. | Bas Relief | more | less
