Notlar Bronze figure of a woman standing with her legs together. She wears a tight-fitting plain dress and broad collar. She also wears a curled bob wig. Her right forearm is extended forwards; and her right hand is pierced, probably for the insertion of a sistrum. In her left hand she holds a small figure of the child Horus to her chest. On the front of her left shoulder is an aegis the menat of which may be seen on the rear of that shoulder. The figure is probably to be identified as a votary of Bastet. Condition: Copper-black patina. Some pitting on face and back. | more | less
