Notlar Binding of leather over pasteboard, gold block-stamped., Includes elaborately illuminated double title page; decorated chapter headings and rosettes; two full page flower paintings (of a peony and a rose) on a gold ground at rear. Gold painted edges to text block., Inscribed on leaves 3 and 469v with identical royal waqf inscriptions, both badly rubbed, but apparently recording its donation to a religious order in 1061 [1657]., May be by the son of Sultan Mehmet IV, who reigned as Sultan Mustafa II from 1695 to 1703.
