This is a lengthy, comprehensive, and popular commentary on Hunayn’s Questions on Medicine for Beginners. A rare testimony of a student reading a text under the direction of a well-known physician. Completed at the end of Jumādá I 632 AH/Feb. 1235 CE by Muhammad ibn ’Uthmān ibn Muhammad ibn al-Husayn ibn ’Alī al-Mawsilī, the same copyist as transcribed on 24 Rabī’ II 612 AH/22 Aug. 1215 CE another medical manuscript in the Bodleian collection, MS. Arch. Seld. A.64.
