After the introduction, the text entitled by the author al-Zī' al-Rīqānī is a summary of al-Zīș al-Kirmānī, written in 438 h. / 1046-1047. To the f. 47, it is entitled Al-Zīș al-Rīqānī al-maș rūf bi-al-Kirmānī wa-al-mansūb ilā arș ād al-Battānī. It is therefore possible, but not certain, that al-Kirmānī and al-Rīqānī are the same person. Waqf mark and oval stamp where one can read Muș tafā ibn al-ễrif??In BSOAS, in 1924, E. Denison Ross describes among manuscripts belonging to Baron Rodolphe d 'Erlanger, in Sidi Bou Saïd (Tunisia), a unique manuscript copied in 489 h. A first slip is missing, and its quotations are identical to it. This is probably the same volume. This hypothesis is confirmed by the maghrebi character of the restoration of the binding Numérisation effectuée à partir d'un document de substitution. Tables astronomiques par al-Rīqānī , basées sur les observations d'al-BattānīAcéphale. Titre au f. 1.
