C'est un abrégé du Nodjoûm renfermant l'histoire de l'Égypte, depuis la conquête jusqu'à l'an 867 de l'hégire, rédigé par l'auteur lui-même. Le présent ms. a été corrigé par l'auteur, et les derniers feuillets, dont il manque un ou plusieurs, sont de sa main. La préface commence par ces mots : الحمد لله الذى زين السماء الدنيا بالنجوم الـزاهـرة. Les premiers feuillets portent une pièce de vers et une litanie. Au fol. 3, on lit une courte notice biographique, très-mutilée, et dont l'écriture est celle d'Al-Maqrîzî. It is an abbreviation of the Nodjoûm containing the history of Egypt, from the conquest to the year 867 of the Hégire, written by the author himself. This word has been corrected by the author, and the last sheets, missing one or more, are by his hand. The preface begins with these words: النĕوLa الĕاللLa الLa La ينالدنيș بالنLa الĕاLa رة. The first sheets bear a piece of worms and a litany. At the time 3, we read a short biographical leaflet, very mutilated, and whose writing is that of Al-Maqrîzî.
