Nastaliq script, brown ink, titles of chapters written with black ink and within a golden and red frame, passages in the text divided with golden-red circles. Marginal notes, ink: black and brown. Text partly lost its clearness because of its age and traces of humidity. Foreword: Abū ‘Abd Allāh Muḥammad Ibn ‘Alî al-‘Arabî, folios 1-4; a short note about the death of the author in Ottoman Turkish: died in Baghdad 632 A.H. / 1234 AD, fol. 7. Prednja korica od kartona prevučena kožom odvojena je od poveza, zadnja korica nedostaje, platneni povez odšiven. Rukopis nastalik, smeđe mastilo, naslovi poglavlja zapisani su crnim mastilom i nalaze se unutar zlatnog i crvenog okvira, odeljci u tekstu su podeljeni kružićima zlatne i crvene boje. Beleške na marginama zapisane su crnim i smeđim mastilom. Tekst je delimično izgubio jasnoću usled starosti i tragova vlage. Predgovor: Abū ‘Abd Allāh Muḥammad Ibn ‘Alî al-‘Arabî, listovi:1-4. Kratka beleška o smrti autora na osmanskom turskom: umro je u Bagdadu 632. AH. / 1234. n. e., list 7. This is the oldest manuscript in the collection of Islamic manuscripts in the University Library in Belgrade. It is in very well condition, readable, nicely decorated. The matter of this book is a Sufi guide for rules establishedin a dervish order. The founder of this order was an author's uncle. The order was established in Bagdad, the culture and political centre of that time. It is interesting to note that the author was still alive during the period of copying this manuscript. It can be presumed that it was done under his own supervision. Therefore it can be considered as an authentic copy. Ovo je najstariji rukopis u zbirci orijentalnih rukopisa u Univerzitetskoj biblioteci u Beogradu. Njegovo stanje je veoma dobro, čitljiv je, lepo ukrašen. Tema ove knjige je sufijski vodič za pravila ustanovljenih u jednom derviškom redu. Osnivač tog reda bio je autorov stric. Red je osnovan u Bagdadu, tadašnjem kulturnom i političkom centru. Zanimljivo je napomenuti da je autor bio živ dok je trajao proces prepisa ovog rukopisa. Može se pretpostaviti da je on obavljen pod njegovim nadzorom. Shodno tome,može se smatrati verodostojnim prepisom.
