Two maps, those of the first and second sections of the seventh climate, are missing. “Amusement for those who wish to travel the different parts of the world” This is the famous geographical treatise, composed by Idrîsî, around the middle of the 12th century, at the court of Roger II, king of Sicily. The first leaves are partly damaged; the last leaf, containing the tenth section of the seventh climate, is missing; other leaves in the body of the volume have been repaired and have gaps. This copy contains a carefully drawn planisphere and sixty-eight maps, each representing the tenth section of a climate, also very well drawn and colored.
