Fiziksel açıklama
The dense flange decoration consists of reciprocal triangles of knotted scrolls joined by half florets which do not match in number the brackets of the rim. Both inner and outer wells are filled with a continuous line of three volutes. A seven-bracket Kraak frame surrounds the central subject which shows a lion lying on a rock with denuded branches on both sides and strange hanging roots. A lone cloud fills the top of the scene.
