Fiziksel açıklama WARP: dark brown and light brown wool plied together; Z2S; 16 threads per inch (66 per dm). WEFT: light brown wool and white cotton plied together ; Z2S; 16 threads per inch (66 per dm). WEFT: light brown wool and white cotton plied together (2w + 1c); Z3S; 2 shoots after each row of knots; 9 knots per inch (35 per dm). PILE: wool; 9 colours: red (faded), yellow, light yellow, dark blue, blue, dark brown, light brown (faded from red?), black, white; symmetrical knot tied around two threads; 72 knots per sq. inch (1155 per sq. dm). SIDE FINISH: Lower: 2 cms. plainweave with white cotton. A fringe of warp loops 2.5 cms. long. Upper: incomplete; max. 2 cms. plainweave with white cotton and a max. 3.5 cms. pairs of 4 warp threads knotted together on the right hand side and with a plait of 4 cms. of warp and weft threads on the extreme right. DESIGN: Field: dark blue ground with 2 rows of 8 octagons and, centrally, one row of 7 small octagons. All contain a horned cross, some with a central diamond. In the large octgons the cross lies within a stepped hooked cross (some have faded). The remaining field has florets, rosettes and hooks. Borders from the inside: (1) white ground with barred Z motifs in various colours. (2) black ground with rosettes separated down most of both sides by a bar; the top of both sides and the upper and lower border has a dark brown ground with rosettes but no bars. (3) white ground with the leaf and wine glass pattern (4) border divided by blue diagonal lines; the intervening spaces are filled with blocks of parallel lines in contrasting colours.
