یادداشت‌ها This jar represents the panel-style design, which divides the surface into separate vertical areas that are distinguished by different patterns. This became a very popular design under the Ilkhanids who ruled Iran from 1260 to 1350. The Ilkhanids were a branch of the Mongol dynasty with their power based in Iran and subordinate to the Great Khan in China. Under their rule artistic production flourished. This is reflected in ceramics production, which produced many new types of wares and a change in style to the previous dynasty.

Decorated in vertical compartments with three alternating patterns, which are separated from one another by panels.
