Notlar
The brown inscription on a white background recalls ink on parchment or paper, but the shape of the dish was inspired by contemporary silverware. Ornamental flourishes have been added to the letters of the Arabic text, which reads, âKnowledge is the most noble of ranks, and manly conduct is the most complicated of family treesâ.
