Notlar
The simple geometric design of this ring is typical of traditional silver from the whole North African region. The patterns vary slightly from place to place, identifying this example as coming from Nubia in the extreme south of Egypt. It was part of a large bequest of Oriental Silver Ornaments received by the Museum in 1904, when it was described as possibly North African.
