Fiziksel açıklama WARP: light brown wool; Z3S; 17 threads per inch (66 per dm). WEFT: white cotton and light brown wool; (2C + 1W); 2 shoots after each row of knots; 9 kinots per inch (36 per dm). PILE: wool; 7 colours: red, yellow, green, dark blue, blue, dark brown, white; symmetrical knot tied around two threads; 77 knots per sq. inch (1188 per sq. dm). SIDE FINISH: 2 cords overcast with blue (faded) cotton END FINISH: Lower: immediately below the pile is 1 cm. of weft twining with blue cotton followed by 1.5 cm. plainweave with light brown wool. A fringe with a max of 7 rows of knots 5 cms. long. Upper: incomplete; 1 cms. plainweave with blue cotton and a fringe with max. 5 rows of knots. DESIGN: Field: a narrow field with a dark blue ground. A yellow toothed lattice outlined in red enclosed 3 offset rows of stylised sprigs, quartered diamonds and angular figures. Chequered and other decorations fill the triangles on the edge of the field. In the outer rows the figures within the lattice are paired. Borders from the inside: (1) reciprocal diamond heads in red and white outlined in dark brown (2) dark brown ground with four-petalled rosettes in contrasting colours. (3) white ground with 2 dark brown 'S' or 'Z' motifs joined hy a two-coloured vertical bar to form a diagonal (4) as (2) (5) as (1) but with yellow in place of white. Catalogue Date: 3.6.97
