Fiziksel açıklama
Embroidered linen cover with silver-gilt thread and coloured silks in satin. Stitching techniques include long, short and drawn thread stitching. The cover is made of four strips of embrouidery joined together by insertion stitches. The design on the two centre strips consists of a row of pink flowers amidst large formalised leaves from which spring other flowers and formalised plants. Along the centre of the cover is a narrow band of silver gilt bobbin lace. On the two outer strips is a design of vases of flowers in between columns with cypress trees above them; the remainder of the space being filled with flowers and leaves. Around three sides of the end strips a fringe of silver-gilt strip is arranged in a looped pattern. The cover has a plain linen backing. In the central strips, the colours are mainly pink and blue. In the outer strips there are browns, pinks and yellows with a little green and blue.
