Dress fabric of tapestry woven woollen twill. Stripes, from left to right: [1] incomplete, pale orange ground with isolated floral sprigs each with a red and white flower on a blue stem with blue leaves. [2] dark blue ground with a floral meander: green leaves outlined in yellow, red 3-petalled flower and red 3-petalled flower outlined in white and red 4-petalled flower outlined in white. [3] white ground with isolated floral sprigs each with yellow petals outlined in red and red stem and leaves. There is then a repeat of [2], [1], [2] and [3]. Warp: white, orange and dark blue wool. Weft: white, dark blue, red, green and purple wool, all S-twist and orange wool, Z-twist.
