Malzemeler ve teknikler Warp: white; Z5S; depressed; 22 threads per inch (88 per dm). Weft: white cotton; Z spun, unplied; 2 shoots after each row of knots; 11 rows of knots per inch (40 per dm). Pile: wool; 10 colours - red, light red, yellow, light yellow, green, light green, blue, light blue, dark blue, purple; asymmetrical knot open to left tied around 2 warp threads. Side finish: missing on left; cut on right. End finish: lower edge cut; upper edge cut. Wool Cotton Knotted Pile
Fiziksel açıklama Carpet fragment, wool knotted pile on cotton foundation, design of crucifom plants set in floral lattice. Main field: light yellow; impression of diamond lattice (but very irregular) in dark blue outlined in red from which spring small blossoms in leaves in various colours. Within the diamonds are stylised floral patterns or lobed quatrefoil motifs. Main border: red ground with single stylised floral meander of thin dark blue stem linking light yellow blossoms with blue/dark blue blossoms; interspersed with elongated split leaves in dark blue or green. Inner border: 1 - dark blue ground with red-stem floral meander with yellow blossom, blue and red leaves; 2 - yellow ground with dark blue X motifs in between red and blue diamonds. Outer border: 1 - as 2 above; 2 - dark blue ground with adjoining red and green rosettes edged in red; 3 - as 1.
