Fiziksel açıklama
Fragment from a plain woven linen fabric, with tapestry-woven decoration in the form of a bejwelled cross. The body of the cross is in yellow wool imitating gold, with inset square jewels in red and green alternating with red medallions showing birds and, in the case of the centre medallion, an eight pointed star. All of the jewels have been outlined in white wool. There are internal selvedges preserved on either side of the top arm of the cross, suggesting the cross was woven separately to the main cross. The selvedge openings have been stitched together with red wool.
