Tarihsel bağlam
The design is influenced by Chinese late 15th century blue-and-white porcelain export wares, particularly in the design incorporating a high arching continuous, meandering scroll around central free-floating rosettes or lotus heads.

Pear-shaped jar with broad neck, painted in cobalt blue with high arching meanders, leaves and floral rosettes or lotus blossoms around body and neck, the painted design much influenced by early Ming dynasty blue and white wares.The cobalt has a greyish tone.
