Fiziksel açıklama Storage bag and panel, soumak: single with some diagonal and vertical wrapping. WARP: one area of brown wool 20 cms., elsewhere cream and light brown wool spun together; Z3S; 22 threads per inch (100 per dm). WEFT: main: white cotton; Z3S; 1 shoot after each pattern weft; 19 weft threads per inch (80 per dm). Pattern: wool and cotton; wool Z2S, cotton Z2S; 10 colours: red, yellow, green, blue, pale blue, pink, brown, dark brown, black, white; Sequence: over 4 warps and back behind 2. SIDE FINISH: returned wefts. END FINISH: Lower: incomplete: 2 cms. plainweave of black wool weft over paired warps with 1.5 cm. fringe uncut warp loops threaded across by single cable of white wool. DESIGN: there are seven bands of geometric design. The central, deep band is of six-sided, linked and hooked motifs; bands 2 and 6 are identical and have a red ground with a continuous, angular motif on a central stem, all infilled with small crosses; bands 1,3 5, and 7 have a yellow ground with an identical zigzag pattern in various colours. All bands are separated by narrow bands of solid colour and bands of alternating colour blocks. Catalogue date: 27.3. 91.
