Malzemeler ve teknikler
Plain woven linen, pattern darning and stem stitch silk embroidery Linen Silk Plain Weave Stem Stitch Pattern Darning
Fiziksel açıklama
Fragment of a plain woven, undyed linen tunic, possibly a sleeve, decorated with counted-thread blue and brown silk embroidery, in pattern draning and stem stitch. The decoration consists of two strips, each of three bands of narrow geometric patterning, sewn together. Remaining races suggest that the strips were originally moutned onto silk, and then later mounted to the linen cloth.
