Carpet fragement: part of the field. WARP: light brown wool; Z3S; 13 threads per inch (49 per dm) WEFT: brown wool; Z spun, unplied; 2 parallel threads per shoot; 2 shoots after each row of knots; 6 knots per inch (25 per dm). PILE: wool; 6 colours: red, yellow, dark green, blue, dark brown, white; symmetrical knot tied around 2 threads; 39 knots per sq. inch (612 per sq. dm). SIDE FINISH: cut END FINISH: cut DESIGN: red ground with white, blue and yellow extensions from two medallions with two and a half stylised flowerheads. Catalogue date: 20.7.94
