Fiziksel açıklama Warp: wool; white and brown; Z2S; not depressed; 15 threads per in (57 per dm). Weft: wool and cotton; white and light pink; wool - Z2S; cotton - Z6S; 2 shoots after each row of knots; 10 rows of knots per in (82 per dm). Pile: wool; 16 colours - dark red, light red, dark yellow, dark green, green, light green, dark blue, light blue, dark pink, pink, brown, light brown, very light brown, black, white; symmetrical knot tied around 2 warp threads. Side finish: 1 cord oversewn wth brown wool. End finish: lower - warp loops twisted into fringe of 6.5cm with 2.5cm band of plainweave with white wool along the centre of which are 9 passes of weft twining in pink/green forming a design of crosses and diamonds; upper - missing with evidence of 1cm plainweave of light pink wool. Design: Field: dark blue ground with a central dark red small indented cross-medallion with inward-facing double pairs of horns in dark yellow and very light brown facing a blue central polygon. From this extends an irregular lattice of straight red/white dotted lines that connect with an incomplete mirror row of 2 pairs of red blossoms and 2 pairs of small rosettes. From the lower red blossoms extending upwards is an irregular large green zigzag (on both sides) which becomes a more conventional stem for the large irregular stems, top and bottom. From the medallion hangs a pair of large yellow pendants, each with a large sprig surmounted by a dark blue rosette. Below are 2 bands of large very irregular composite blossoms and above are 3 bands. The rest of the field, especially the edges, is filled with tiny geometric, floral, and animal motifs. Main border: white ground with a repeating pattern of stylised floral motifs that have been "degenerated" to an unrecognisable degree; predominantly pink, brown, and blue. Inner and Outer borders: light red ground with a small floral meander with a small flower-head alternating with 3 small buds; various colours.
