Fiziksel açıklama Carpet with a woollen pile. WARP: brown and white wool; Z2S; 26 threads per inch (96 per dm); depressed. WEFT: brown wool; Z-spun, unplied; 2 shoots after each row of knots; 13 knots per inch (50 per dm). PILE: wool. 12 colours: dark red, red, yellow, green, dark blue, blue, light blue, dark brown, brown, light brown, black, white; asymmetrical knot, open to the left and tied around 2 threads; 169 knots per sq. inch (2400 per sq. dm). SIDE FINISH: 1 cord oversewn with red and green wool. END FINISH: Lower: 1.5 cms of plain weave with 1 row of weft twining in red/green wool. Upper: as lower without plain weave and with evidence of single knot fringe. DESIGN: Field with a red ground with large blue lozenge, outlined with a reciprocal hook design, containing row of three diamond medallions, the two outer with white grounds and the central with a red ground. The entire field is covered by a small scale Herati pattern. Main border: white ground with a floral meander on a dark brown stem with multi-coloured flowers. Inner and outer border: yellow ground with rosettes and triangles.
