Malzemeler ve teknikler Silk knotted pile with cotton Silk Cotton Weaving
Fiziksel açıklama Silk rug with intricate medallion on a warm-brown ground, with golden yellow corner pieces. Warp: white silk; Z3S; 30-32 threads per inch (120 per dm); depressed. Weft: light brown cotton; Z6S; 2 shoots after each row of knots; 19-24 knots per inch (76-94 to the dm). Pile: silk; 11 colours: red, yellow, light yellow, green, light green, dark blue, blue, light blue, purple, black, white; symmetrical knot tied around 2 threads; 285-384 knots per sq. inch (4560-5640 per sq. dm). Side finish: two cords overcast with red silk. End finish: cut and silk fringes applied. Design: Field: yellow ground with large purple medallion with a pendant in each corner. Within it is a dark blue medallion with two vase-like pendants. In the centre is an elaborate rosette and from its border are floral stems. The yellow field has large green leaves and stylised flowers on dark blue stems. Main border: dark blue ground with floral meander; there is a red stem bearing a light blue carnation-like flower above 2 leaves alternating with a large blossom framed by a group of 3 leaves containing a boteh-like filling. Inner and outer borders: from centre: (1) and (3) red ground with small white flowerheads bracketed with light blue and yellow. (2) light yellow ground with floral meander with black stem, light blue flowerheads and red diamond shaped leaves.
