Fiziksel açıklama bag face (described as in use). WARP: cream wool; Z2S; 23 threads per inch (88 per dm). WEFT: light brown wool; Z spun, apparently unplied and with 2 parallel threads per shoot and 2 shoots after each row of knots; 19 knots per inch (78 per dm). PILE: wool; 5 colours: dark red, red, dark blue, dark brown, cream; asymmetrical knot, open to the right and tied around two warp threads; 219 knots per sq. inch (3432 per sq. dm). SIDE FINISH: 2 cords overcast with dark red wool. END FINISH: Lower: 2.5 cms. plain weave with cream weft followed by a narrow band of dark blue weft, turned and stitched into place. Upper: incomplete; one row of symmetrical jufti knots in blocks of 6 knots in green, dark red, red and dark blue, one contrasting plus a corroded black; then 1 cm. maximum plain weve with cream weft. DESIGN: Field: three bands each with four rectangles outlined alternately in red and dark red, quartered in dark blue and either dark red or red, with each quarter containing a flowerhead. In the centre of each rectangle is a dark red cross with a hooked outline in white. The rectangles are separated by a) horizontal bands of flowerheads in dark blue alternating with red or white, and by b) vertical bands of a more compressed flowerhead motif. Main border: dark red ground with half-octagons on each side and quartered diamonds along the centre. Inner and Outer border: along both ends the design is as a); along both sides the design is as b). Outermost border: a solid dark red at the top, containing two narrow bands of first, red, brown and dark blue and second, brown and dark blue diagonals. Catalogue Date. 1.2.95
