Fragment from the rim of a shallow bowl with carinated sides, pale buff-yellow earthenware, painted in manganese black with radiating panels around the cavetto and inner scroll border with a pseudo epigraphic script, each panel with an X and four dots, the rim with a trellis or cross-hatched border under a clear glaze tinted pale blue with cobalt oxide
