Notlar
This pendant was described as a âlocket to hold a stone (missing). Saracenic, from Cairoâ when it was acquired by the Museum in 1884. There is no evidence that it ever opened. The missing stone was probably an amulet of some kind, as pendants worn for purely decorative purposes were never part of traditional jewellery in Egypt.

Fiziksel açıklama
Silver pendant hanging from a figure-of-eight chain. The pendant is a horizontal oval frame, closed on the back, with an open space at the front with a crimped edge which once held a stone, now missing. Along the lower edge are nine loops each of which holds a pendant. Each pendant consists of a plain sheet silver disc with a flat drop hanging below it.
