Fiziksel açıklama
Fragments from an undyed, plain woven linen tunic, with separately woven and applied decoration in coloured wool. The fragments preserve the clavi, neckband and one set of cuff bands. There are remains of warp fringes along both sides of the tunic body. The decoration consists of a repeat row of red rosettes outlined in black, their centres in undyed linen. Around the neck, from this band hang a row of flower-heads in red, yellow and green wool, alternating with black. At one end of the tunic, a band from a different, earlier tunic has been stitched lengthways across the body. It consists of a row alternating lily petals and rosettes bordered by a band with scalloped design, in purple wool on an undyed linen ground. The fragments have been mounted to a modern linen backing.
