Warp: white cotton; Z3S; depressed; 26 threads per inch (92 per dm). Weft: grey cotton; Z spun; unplied; 2 parallel threads per shoot and 2 shoots after each row of knots; 17 knots per inch (65 per dm). Pile: wool; 9 colours - dark red, red, yellow, green, dark blue, blue, light blue, light brown, white; asymmetrical knot open to the left and tied around 2 threads; 221 knots per sq. inch (2990 per sq. dm). Side finish: both sides are cut. End finish: both ends are cut. Design: Field: small-scale Herati pattern with multi-coloured sickle leaves on a dark blue ground. They frame a diamond of red outlined in light blue and bearing green/yellow blossoms.
