PILE: wool, knotted, 8/9 colours: red, yellow, dark green, green, dark blue, blue, pink, pink (1 motif, outer border, lower left), brown, white WARP: cotton, (Z3S) 2Z, depressed, 24 to the inch (108 dm) WEFT: cotton, Z2S; with 2// per shoot, 2 shoots after each row of knots 13-15 rows of knots to inch (52-59 per dm.) SIDE FINISH: 1 cord oversewn with dark blue wool END FINISH: Upper: 1/2" plain weft with 1 row weft turning in red and blue. 3 rows warp twining, then twisted warp fringe with single knot - max 6" long (15 cm). Lower: warp fringe with single knot 3" (7.5 cm) long; above is 1 band of warp twining sometimes as plaiting, 1" (2.5 cm) plain weave with white cotton in the middle of which is one band of weft wrapping in red and blue. Fiziksel açıklama
Wool knotted pile on cotton foundation. DESIGN: Field: A square grid of 6 bands of 3 rows of stylized floral arrangements in individual grounds - the outer rows pair across. Half have a modified tree design, including 3 willows; others are vigorous sprigs, vases, etc. The innermost border and grid is dark blue in the first band and then from then upwards in green and has small red or red and white crosses. Main border: red ground with white cartouches with less stylized floral motifs separated by a small yellow flower with four outer flowers in blue with yellow leaves. Guard stripes: Inner and Outer: dark blue ground with a red floral meander with yellow, blue, green and white blossoms.
