Black tuff rock slab in ten pieces with Islamic inscription dedicated to Sultan Rukun-ud-din Barbak Shah who ruled Bengal from 1459-1474 CE. The inscription commemorates the building of a reservoir and inner gate on the grounds of the palace of Gaur (Lakhnauti), then capital of Bengal. It is dated to 871 AH (1466-7 CE).
