Notlar	Explicit : الله سکرات الموت و اعطاه القوة الا ىحتد مسلما. Manuscript. Title, copy date, author's name from colophon. 31 lines per page, laid European paper (watermark: three crescents, B). Syrian script, rubricated, Qur'ānic verses in red. Catch words, marginal glosses. Transcription began in Ṣafar 1146 [1733], see two short notes on (f.1a and f.275a). This is the first volume of al-Kashshāf 'an ḥaqā'iq al-tanzīl. It covers as far as Chapter Yūsuf. Second volume covers the rest of the Qur'ānic chapters after Sūrah Yūsuf and is catalogued under the number MS BW Ivanow 0170. Several ownership statements, see (f1a and f.275a). Previously owned by Hāshim ibn Yaḥyā al-Sāmī. Previously owned by Ḥasan ibn Zayd al-Sāmī, Ramaḍān 1156. Previously owned by Ibrahīm ibn Khālid ibn Aḥmad al-'Alamī.
