Notes	In this file: A letter from the Hebrew University addressed to students participating in the Aharon Laish seminar course on the subject of the Islamic endowment in the Middle East and North Africa in 1983, in addition to summaries of the lectures that will be presented during the course, in Aharon Laish’s handwriting. The file also includes a list containing glossaries of terms used in Aharon Laish's seminar course on the same topic, which was held in 1993. Also, the file contains photocopies related to the management of the endowment in accordance with Sharia laws, the Waqf book by Muhammad Qadri, the Trust Law, the Mandate Law, and selected religious court decisions, including notes in Aharon Laish's handwriting from 1988. The file also includes a photocopy of the seminar function by student Natan. Kasfi (נתן כספי) in 1972, entitled “The Waqf in Jaffa at the Beginning of the 19th Century (1840-1860)”, which was prepared during the seminar course “The Waqf in Modern Arab Society” under the supervision of Professor Gabriel Bayer (גבריאל בר).
