Consists of all 6 books of the Mathnawī, each book begins with an illuminated headpiece and ends with a decorated and illuminated colophon. Poems appear in 4 colomns, minor marginal notes and corrections. Titltes written in red ink enclosed in a gold panel. 23 lines per page, elegant naskh hand, catch words, rule-borders in gilt. Title from a note beneath the colophon. Poems. Manuscript. Worn lacquered binding with painting from the stories of the Mathnawi, includes double cover with decoration, central medallion and corner pieces, leaves are loose and separated, spine is detached, stab sewn.
