Script: Written in nastaʻlīq in black ink; pointed; headings in thuluth; pointed and vocalized. Decoration: Illuminated headpiece in gold and colors (p. 61, 199); polychrome illuminated headers with leaf and vine motifs (p. 1, 125, 157, 305); textblock border-ruled in blue and red or blue and gold; columns and sections ruled in red; rubrications in red, green, blue, gold; some poetry set off by red markers. Origin: Copy completed in Muḥarram 836 AH (1432 CE) by ʻAlī ibn Ḥakīm Tirmiz̲ī (p. 240). Shelfmark: MS Or 452. Also available as a digital facsimile. Forms part of the Saʻīd Nafīsī collection purchased by Columbia Unversity in 1961 (library bookplate inside back cover).
