Notes	Praise be to God, the Great King. As for what follows, I saw a group of people of determination who had learned some literature and wisdom and spread out volumes on histories. So I sought God’s help and collected this collection from its collection and called it Al-Mustarraf fi Every Fann Al-Mustadharf. Omar Ibn Al-Ahaym said: In your lifetime, no country has become narrow with its people. *** But the morals of men are narrow.
