Notlar A copy of Dala'il al Khairat (The guide book of blessings and enlightenment). Well known devotional work, a collection of prayers and eulogies of the prophet Muhammad, and the description of the prophet's tomb. Written in excellent naskhi, Arabic. Gilt borders, end-piece in blue, red and gilt. Mohammed, God and 'he says' written in red. Representation of tombs of Muhammad, Abu Bakr and 'Umar al-Khattab at Medina on f.11v. Divided into sections for reading through the week. Prayer in a different hand on the final folio. f.73r: the scribe of this book was Darwish Mohammad Suleiman f.8v-11r: Section on 201 names of Mohammed, each separated by a gold stop. Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم الحمد الله الذي هذانا للايمان والاسلام Explicit: ان تزرع في قلبي معرفتک کما ينبغي ان تعرف به و صلي الله علي سيدنا ونبينا ومولانا محمد خاتم النبين و امام المرسلين و علي اله واصبحه اجمعين والحمد الله رب العالمين Colophon: كتبه الحقير درويش محمد سليمان حامداً لله تعالى
