Notlar	This15th-century witness is incomplete; it is missing about 30 folios: 6ff in the beginning; 3ff after f. 19; 7ff after f. 20; and 15ff after f. 105. On the other hand, it contains numerous geometrical drawings, diagrams and tables (in black and red ink), but few corrections and marginal notes.The treatise ends on f.119b; and the colophon provides the title "Kitāb al-tafhīm li-awāʾil ṣināʿat al-tanjīm" and the name of the copyist ʿAbd Allāh ibn Yaḥyá ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Daraqanī [or Zaraqanī; Razaqanī] al-Ḥasanī al-Dāwūdī, who states he transcribed the work for himself (ʿallaqahu li-nafsi-hi), and gives the date Sunday, the end of Dhū al-Qaʿdah 833 [late August 1430]. \| تم کتاب التفهيم لاوائل صناعة التنجيم وذلک في يوم الاحد سلخ شهر ذوالقعدة من سنة ثلثة وثلثين وثمانماية غلقه تنفسه ... اضعف عباد الله تعالی واحوجهم الی رحمته العبد الفقير الی الله تعالی عبد الله بن يحيی بن عبد الله الزرقني/الرزقني الحسني الداوودي ونستعيد بالله من الزلل ونسأله الفوفيق للعلم والعمل والصلاة علی محمدٍ سيد المرسلين وعلی جميع الانبياء والشهدا والصالحين صلاةً دايماً باقيقةً الی ابد الابدين ودهر الداهرين امين اللهم امين
