Notlar At the top of recto in square letters: two unfinished lines from the beginning of Midraš Tanḥuma on the weekly portion בראשית (Genesis 1:1-6:8). This is followed by another midraš written in a more cursive hand, which is identified below the text as מדרש ללחכמים ז״ל. An ownership note states that the text belonged to Samuel ha-Kohen Dallāti, with an admonition in Judaeo-Arabic that he should study it.
