Notes
A will made by a man in his lifetime, distributing his modest wealth among his wife and sons, and assigning money for funeral expenses for himself and for a grandmother. Dated Marḥešvan 1416 of the Seleucid Era (= 1104 CE), with crude signatures by Mevasser b. Ḥalfon, Yefet b. Joseph, Mevoraḵ b. ʿEli and Nissim b. Jacob (of which the first two and the second two look like they are each in the same hand). Written in the hand of Ḥalfon b. Manasseh.
