Tarih semi-cursive script in two different hands (recto/verso)
Notlar Recto: letter to Nahray b. Nissim with address in two lines on verso. Verso: letter from Nahray b. Nissim in Fusṭāṭ to a Maghrebi merchant. Nahray mentions having been in Rašid (Rosetta), waiting to hear from the recipient, and sending instructions to people in Alexandria. Abū Manṣūr the scribe (possibly Aaron b. Sahl al-Tustarī) sends his thanks, as does Abū Zikrī Judah the physician (i.e. Judah b. Saʿadya). Nahray has only received from Surūr ibn Ibrāhīm in Alexandria a partial payment, but he will bring the remaining 1000 dirhams owed to Nahray in Fusṭāṭ. Nahray reports on how the sale of various fabrics, beads, pearls and other goods have gone, and give instructions for further purchases to be made. Ca. 1046 CE.
