Notlar	This interesting ms. belonged to the French scholar and translator of the Shahnama, Jules Mohl, whose annotations may be seen on the margins of the preface. He did not state where he acquired it, and its origin remains controversial. Norah Titley provides persuasive evidence for an Indian origin, at the court of the Delhi Sultanate.
