In fact, the scene is rather reminiscent of the story of Bizhan (and particularly Ruhham) attacking Farud, and cutting his shoulder with a sword blow. Possibly the painting is misplaced. It anyway occurs, within the Bizhan and Human episode, well after their battle, at the point where the victorious Bizhan, disguised as Human, is about the pass through the initially jubilant Turanian army. The binding is a dark brown leather with gold inscriptions around a central gold illuminated box. The section headings are in gold and are mostly nicely illuminated by blue paint with flowers. The date of the manuscript makes it a rare copy - there are very few others from the first decade of the 16th century, and only one of the same year, in the Dar al-Kutub, Cairo, of Shawwal 905/April 1500 (Ch.M.).Initial investigation by Amin Mahdavi.Link to the entry in the online database: https://viewer.cbl.ie/viewer/image/Per_295/1/
